Optimization focuses on engagement by default, unless it is able to find revenue data. That’s
where postbacks come into play.
- Once your account is set up, we’ll provide you with the postback details specific, like the postback url and the tracking key:
https://pb.brdwlkmrktng.com/TRACKINGKEY?clickid={sub4}&revenue={payout_amount}
- The ClickId is typically set to &sub4= but clients have the discretion to change this.
- Revenue amounts are in tenths of a cent.
$1.53 in payout would be represented as &revenue=1530
$.73 in payout would be represented as &revenue=730
2. The postback will only work with a boardwalk issued clickid. The system automatically generates clickid’s as {{bwClickId}}
- sub4={{bwClickId}}
Example of your offer url:
https://yoururl.com/?sub1=test&sub2=test&sub3=test&sub4={{bwClickId}}
Then the postback url would look like:
https://pb.brdwlkmrktng.com/TRACKINGKEY?clickid={sub4}&revenue=1530
-> Revenue in this example being $1.53
*Please note, although optional to get started, postbacks are helpful for revenue optimization.
** The bwClickID is case sensitive
